Swiss and Crab Pie

Swiss and Crab Pie

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 pastry shell, baked, 9-inch
3/4 cup fresh crab meat
1/2 cup sliced green onions, divided
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup half and half
1/2 tsp. lemon zest
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
dash of ground mace
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Salt and pepper to taste

Sprinkle cheese over pastry shell. Top with crab and sprinkle with 1/4 cup green onions. In separate bowl combine eggs, half and half, lemon zest, mustard, salt, pepper and mace. Pour mixture over crab. Top with almonds and remaining green onions. Bake at 325⁰ for 50 to 55 minutes. Remove from oven. Allow to cool 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with sprigs of fresh parsley.
